Celebrate the 60th Anniversary of Historic RCA Studio B with Jason Coleman, Meagan Taylor, and special guests Charlie McCoy and Mandy Barnett!
Saturday and Sunday, December 16-17, 2017
Presented by the Country Music Hall of Fame & Museum
NASHVILLE, TN — The music of Historic RCA Studio B comes to life in a special holiday tour and concert by guitarist Meagan Taylor, great-niece of Chet Atkins, and pianist Jason Coleman, grandson of Floyd Cramer. In the very same studio where Country Music Hall of Fame members Atkins and Cramer popularized the Nashville Sound more than fifty years ago, Taylor and Coleman will perform Christmas classics as well as the timeless songs of their legendary forerunners, including Atkins’s “Freight Train” and Cramer’s “Last Date.” The performance will also include special guest appearances from Country Music Hall of Fame member and former Studio B session player Charlie McCoy as well as recording artist Mandy Barnett, a modern torchbearer of Nashville Sound vocal style.
Two performances each day – 3:00–5:00 p.m. and 4:15–6:15 p.m. – departing from the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum.
